Laboratory Chemist Lead:

The role involves sampling, testing, analysing, and data reporting of process fluids from company operations, manage laboratory equipment including routine calibration and minor preventive maintenance as well as maintaining proper reagent and equipment inventory to enhance production efficiency. Operate the laboratory at acceptable standards using international methods, develop and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) as well as assist and provide impute in all chemical management, management of the chemical internal corrosion management process and troubleshooting to support asset integrity.

Qualification

A minimum of B.Sc. degree or HND in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry and a minimum of 5 years sampling and analytical experience in oil and gas production chemistry laboratory.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure daily management of the firm’s laboratory to meet all necessary analysis in crude oil Production, Water Injection, gas processing and process monitoring, using internationally accepted standards and methods and complying with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) to support production and meet corporate objectives.
  • Manage the laboratory equipment and reagents to ensure that they are fit to meet the required analysis and supervise the calibration and in-house maintenance of basic laboratory equipment to support production and meet regulatory license.
  • Champion all the firm’s HSE issues as well as managing laboratory waste disposal, chemical spill and hazard waste management as it relates to laboratory operation including active participation in the firm’s SHICS program to enhance the safety of personnel and environment and meet regulatory requirements for a license to operate

 

 

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer :

This position will coordinate, support and supervise all mechanical activities within the asset to ensure that the facilities (oil & gas) and equipment are maintained, reliable and consistent with the firm’s business objectives to achieve oil/gas production targets and gas supply agreement.

Qualification

A B. Sc/Eng. degree or HND in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry. Good understanding of industry best practices and maintenance principles.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform mechanical inspections and interventions activities on pumps, compressors, gas/diesel engines, generators, etc. in line with planned schedules for flow station and gas plant facilities to ensure overall availability of the facilities to meet the Corporate production volumes.
  • Prepare reports, data and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance related problems to meet production targets.
  • Manage a team of outsourced maintenance contractors and ensure that maintenance contractors are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that the maintenance programme can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.

 

Well Services Lead: This position will implement and support Well services plan for well testing, well completion and stimulation operations to achieve continuous improvement in well services performance as well as ensuring operational & technical excellence on all related well services activities aimed at achieving an ultimate goal of increased oil & gas production from all operated wells within the assets. Coordinate all wellhead integrity activities to ensure life extension of the firm’s asset with a key focus on the safety of life, environment, and people.

Qualification

  • A university degree in Mechanical/Instrument/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience working in similar capacities on swamp and land wells.
  • Sound knowledge of completion, work-over operations is expected.
  • A valid IWCF or IADC certificate is compulsory

Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in planning, monitor, supervision and optimise well testing operations for all exploratory and appraisal wells, well completion and well workover operations for all development wells and ensure they are carried out in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner and in compliance with HSE and operational commitments
  • Participate in providing support to the Drilling Manager for well completions/testing/workover operations to enhance production volume.

 

Well Services Supervisor :

This position will implement and support Well services plan for well testing, well completion and stimulation operations to achieve continuous improvement in well services performance as well as ensuring operational & technical excellence on all related well services activities aimed at achieving an ultimate goal of increased oil & gas production from all operated wells within the assets.

Metering Engineer:

This position will be responsible for all metering activities which include calibration, testing and repair, new facilities testing and technical assessments to ensure accurate measurements of oil and gas and to minimize revenue losses due to meter inaccuracies.

Qualification

A minimum of B.Sc. degree or HND in Instrumentation / Measurement & Control/Mechanical/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering and a minimum of 5 years technical professional with significant experience in the oil and gas industry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement the requirements of the firm’s metering policy and assume the responsibilities for the applicable metering and quality management inspection tasks to ensure metering integrity and prevent loss of revenue.
  • Provide specialist metering and associated quality management inspection (including custody transfers and fiscal metering systems) maintenance support to all assets to ensure production efficiency through accurate volume measurements.
  • Participate in providing support to the Drilling Manager for well completions/testing/workover operations to enhance production volume.

Production Accounting System Custodian:

This position will manage the usage and upgrade of the installed Production Data Management System (PDMS) as a tool for production data and operations management including hydrocarbon accounting and reporting to achieve corporate objectives and support commercial /business delivery.

Qualification

A HND or Degree in Engineering or numerical science with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil/gas industry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the implementation of new hydrocarbon accounting software ensuring all functional requirements are adequately covered to support business delivery.
  • Configure the hydrocarbon accounting tools to always reflect the company’s physical integrated production system for accurate data allocations to reservoirs and wells to enhance business improvement. Verify integrity of base data supplied from field measurement systems prior to its use in the Hydrocarbon Accounting system.

 

Corporate Hydrocarbon Accounting Business Analyst:

This position will monitor the company’s business performance by adequately collating, organising and tracking Oil and Gas production data from ALL Assets’ production facilities and prepare reports/presentations to identify strengths and weaknesses to give the business more focus and clarity into their teams work to improve business effectiveness.

Qualification

A minimum of B.Sc. degree or HND in Instrumentation / Measurement & Control/Mechanical/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering and a minimum of 5 years technical professional with significant experience in the oil and gas industry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collate, organise, and publish Oil & Gas production data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, in order to track production performance and enable management to take necessary steps to meet production targets.
  • Ensure that all collated oil & gas production data are accurate and published in time to meet the monthly Reconciliation targets with partners and third-party injectors (HEOSL, SUMMIT OIL, NPDC Oredo & Pan Ocean) to support the business

Instrument Maintenance Engineer:

This position will coordinate and control all instrumentation and control equipment maintenance activities within the facilities to ensure that such standards are met at all times to ensure the technical integrity and availability of the facilities in order to achieve oil/gas production targets and gas supply agreements in line with Corporate objectives.

Qualification

  • A B. Sc/Eng. degree or HND in Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years Instrumentation/Electrical maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry, respectively.
  • Good understanding of industry best practices and maintenance principles
  • A HND or Degree in Engineering or numerical science with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil/gas industry.

Key Accountabilities

This position will operate the Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) Unit and any other field meters including the Quality Loop as may be determined by the company to ensure accurate crude oil delivery into third-party manifold / Pipeline, safely and within agreed specification to ensure accurate production volume allocation to the firm. the company’s business performance by adequately collating, organising and tracking Oil and Gas production data from ALL Assets’ production facilities and prepare reports/presentations to identify strengths and weaknesses to give the business more focus and clarity into their teams work to improve business effectiveness.

Qualification

  • A degree or HND in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrument/Petroleum engineering disciplines or Numerical Sciences.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of oil & gas production operations experience

Key Accountabilities

  • Operate, maintain and carry out daily checks on all the equipment on the LACT UNIT and prover Loop at specified intervals as may be determined by the company standard operating procedures to ensure accurate production volume measurements ad allocation to the firm.
  • Keep track and document hourly of the installed custody transfer meters, inline autosampler, line pressures and other instruments on the LACT UNIT in other to ensure they are performing; at their optimal level to enhance production efficiency and meet allocated production volume delivery.

 

Programmer:

To maximize asset hydrocarbon production well through short term optimization, surveillance, well activity management, deferment reduction to meet corporate production and sales targets.

Qualification

  • A minimum of first degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or Chemistry related fields and a minimum of 5 years working experience in the oil industry with relevant programming, surface production operations and subsurface experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform daily well monitoring/surveillance, short term optimisation, collation, data validation, QA/QC, analysis and trending of oil & gas production, gas/water injection, flaring and well issues to ensure production volumes are efficiently accounted for.
  • Ensure statutory well testing and sampling compliance across assets and achieve reasonable Technical Allowable rate half-yearly.
  • Maintain key interfaces, relationships and processes between programming, metering and asset development and Production Operations for all activities and ensure consistency between assets to enhance hydrocarbon production efficiency

 

Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

This position will ensure that all electrical generation/distribution/protection and control systems are safely operated and maintained in order to achieve oil/gas production targets and gas supply agreements while maintaining the highest level of HSE performance and integrity of the facilities.

Qualification

  • B. Sc/Eng. degree or HND in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years Electrical/Instrumentation
  • Maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry respectively. Good understanding of industry best practices and maintenance principles.

Key Accountabilities

  • Enforce the correct application of the Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and procedures on all electrical maintenance activities in compliance with statutory and Corporate HSE requirements to protect personnel, facility, environment and Corporate image of the firm
  • Initiate, implement and manage the maintenance strategies based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning /scheduling preventive /corrective maintenance to sustain the integrity of the facilities and production to meet the Corporate production objectives
  • Prepare reports, data and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance related problems to meet production targets.

 

Associate Production Technologist:

The role will involve extensive training on wellsite operations, provide appropriate support, under the supervision of the senior Production Technologist, to the identification of production improvement opportunities and production optimization studies in conjunction with the reservoir engineer and production geologist in the development team.

Qualification

  • A university degree in Engineering or equivalent with 1 – 2 years relevant experience in an operating company. Awareness in the following:
  • Data Management
  • Wellsite Operations
  • Production Systems
  • HSE considerations in well management
  • Operational experience will be an added advantage.

Key Accountabilities

  • Wellsite assignment for about 2 years; alternating between wellsite and office training.
  • Liaise with the production department and ensure consistent testing and validation of well tests in the assigned field
  • Collate and publish End Of Well Reports (EOWR) for all completed / workover wells.
  • Identify production improvement opportunities in assigned field/s and optimize the existing wells’ performance.

 

Senior Production Technologist:

This position will be expected to deliver well & completions designs for all wells, Production optimization and multi-discipline projects in accordance with World Class Hydrocarbon Maturation and Well Delivery and Intervention Processes, and the deliverables set by the firm’s requirements to optimize Oil & Gas recovery.

Qualification

As a Senior Production Technologist, the incumbent should have a broad understanding of other E&P disciplines and skills in all key Production technologist specialities. A university degree in Engineering or equivalent with 9 – 11 years relevant experience, including a minimum of 9 years PT work experience in an operating company.

Skills in the following areas:

  • Well Modeling & Performance
  • Production System Optimization
  • Conformance Technology
  • Well Integrity Management and Determining Well Operating Envelope
  • Planning & Design of Well Intervention Activities
  • HSE considerations in well management and completion operations
  • Completion Design and supervision

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead Well performance modelling, sand prediction, sand control selection and upper completion design, perforating and smart well design for land and swamp operations.
  • Work in an integrated study team (as a member or a study team lead) to mature opportunities. Make PT input into the field development plan. The goal is to optimally and profitably extract hydrocarbon from the Assets.
  • Ensure compliance with well, reservoir and facility management, well integrity, control guidelines and taking appropriate actions in assigned field/s. This is to safeguard the assets and assure the reputation of the company.

 


Head, HSE Operations Eastern Asset:

The role will be responsible for the effective HSE management delivery for assigned asset facilities, projects and operations. Act as the technical expert for all HSE Management systems and continuous improvement of HSE performance in the asset.

Qualification

  • An Engineering or technical science degree.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in a senior HSE-critical position of an E &P Oil and Gas company.
  • NEBOSH Certification in Occupational Health, Safety or Environment. Applied project experience in an oil/gas construction and operational site environment

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive and coordinate delivery of quality HSE guidance expert advice and services in fulfilment of the Asset plan
  • Lead accountability for the sustained implementation of the HSE-MS and HSE cases in the firm’s operations.
  • Draw from subject matter expertise of the various Disciplines in the Corporate teams to fulfil the demands for HSE services and resource in the asset organisation based on identified needs/requirements

 

Senior Production Geologist:

The Senior production geologist has the role of generating integrated predictive subsurface/geological models to address/resolve subsurface production challenges in addition to harnessing subsurface opportunities.

Qualification

  • A minimum qualification of BSc. in Geology with at least 15 years (senior) or 20 years (principal) work experience in an active operating E&P company.
  • Higher degrees will be added advantage.

Key Accountabilities

  • Familiar with the fundamentals of all Petroleum Geology specialists’ areas (especially Seismic, Production and Reservoir Geology) and hands-on ability of geological applications and software including Petrel. Competence in a wide range of field, reservoir and uncertainties management, field development and data management activities.
  • Apply state of the art interpretation and evaluation technology in the delivery of integrated, predictive subsurface/geological models in line with the industry best practice. Working knowledge of seismic, production and reservoir geological processes.
